When you submit a pitch through this website we collect your name, email address, company name, country of incorporation, optional links and the presentation you upload. If you contact us by email we keep that correspondence.
Why we collect it
We use this information solely to evaluate a potential investment, to reply to you, and to keep a record of companies we have reviewed. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
How it is stored
Submissions and uploaded presentations are stored in a private, access-controlled backend. Uploaded files are not publicly accessible. Access is limited to the Ugly Duckling Ventures team.
Confidentiality
We treat material you send us as confidential and share it internally only. We do not forward your material to third parties without your permission.
Retention
We keep pitch material for as long as it is relevant to our investment work. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Write to hello@uglyduckling.ventures and we will respond.
